Using Public Transport
From Dresden Hauptbahnhof (Central Train Station): Take tram no. 7 towards Weixdorf, alight at Infineon Nord, and follow the signs. Cost: Approximately €3 for a single ticket. Duration: About 30 minutes.
From Dresden-Neustadt Station: Exit onto Schlesischer Platz and take tram no. 3 towards Coschütz. Alight at Albertplatz, then take tram no. 7 towards Weixdorf, alight at Infineon Nord, and follow the signs. Cost: Use your conference ticket as a free pass for public transportation. Duration: About 25 minutes.
From the Airport
By Bus: Take bus no. 77 towards Klotzsche-Infineon and alight at the final stop, which is directly adjacent to the DGUV Academy. Cost: Approximately €3 for a single ticket. Duration: About 10 minutes.
By Taxi: A taxi from the airport to the DGUV Academy costs around €10-12. Duration: About 10 minutes.
By Car
Via the A4: Take the Dresden-Wilschdorf/Airport exit. Follow the B97 towards the airport, turn right at the first crossroads (near the Agip petrol station), continue for 1.4 km, then turn right onto Königsbrücker Landstraße. Immediately take the left-hand lane and turn left at the next traffic lights.
From the City Centre: Follow the B97 towards the airport and turn right at the entrance to “Infineon Nord.”
Parking On-site parking is limited. We recommend using public transport for your journey.
If you register as a student, resident, nurse, lab technician or nursing assistant, then you are requested to upload a proof of status. Please read the requirements below. The proof should be sent directly after registration.
The proof of status must be written in English; The proof of status must be issued on official hospital or university letterhead;
The date of the proof of status must not be older than 3 months from the date of registration;
The status must be valid during the conference in September 2024;
The proof of status must clearly state your position within the institution, practice, etc.;
The proof of status must display the applicant’s full name and date of birth;
The proof of status must state the beginning and the end of the residency or PhD (for Residents and PhD students);
The proof of status must be signed by hand (no electronic signature) by the head of department (hospital or academic institution) confirming the status of the applicant;
The proof of status must include the following details about the head of department: full name, department, email address and telephone number.
